A Green Method for Synthesis of Silver-Nanoparticles-Diatomite (AgNPs-D) Composite from Pineapple (<i>Ananas comosus</i>) Leaf Extract

This study aims to develop a green method load silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) into the diatomite (D) pores produce AgNPs-D composite material. The AgNPs were synthesized by pineapple leaf extract at temperature of 70 °C for 30 min. formation was characterized UV-Vis, FTIR, TGA, particle sizes analysis, gravimetric, and color observation. appearance surface plasmon bands in 440–460 nm confirms formation. percentage AgNO3 which converted 99.8%. smallest size nm, obtained an concentration 1 mM with stirring time 24 h °C. colloidal stable up 7 days. adsorption process marked –C=O –C–O– groups peak 1740 1366 cm–1 on FTIR spectrum. By gravimetric technique, as much wt.% loaded D pores. material changes from white reddish-brown. TGA analysis showed that remaining 580 are 98.22% 95.74%, respectively. loading through technology technique expected increase application biomedical field.
